About Odd Molly

On March 25th of 2002 freelance designer Karin Jimfelt-Ghatan and word artist Per Holknekt met in Stockholm to discuss a design project for an advertising agency. They found an instant mutual understanding so strong that they set aside that initial project only to shape their own brand new designer fashion label instead. Less than 30 minutes from that first coffee, Odd Molly was born.

The core idea of the company was to let uninhibited design intuition lead the way, bringing forward a fabulous and positive message to women. The fashion industry is often caught up in an unending search for perfection. Instead, Odd Molly retains features that are unique, unusual and individual, which are attractive to women throughout the world.

Odd Molly is a brand with a mind, a heart and a conscience. It is also a loving brand with high ambitions, that will never take itself too seriously. Odd Molly is loved by a variety of women of all generations; from the women of small Greek villages to the pickiest celebrity actresses of Hollywood. They are women who dare to be themselves, to go their own way with a big appetite for life, and who don’t mind spoiling themselves a little. What attracts so many women throughout the world is not only the distinctive, odd and sensual design of the clothing - it is also the special feeling that surrounds the Odd Molly brand. The clothes represent high quality and beautiful design, but also convey thought-provoking messages through small words of wisdom and the surprising details found on each garment.

Odd Molly is a clothing design company that commissions carefully selected suppliers in a number of countries in Asia and Europe for its external manufacturing. Since its inception in 2002, the company has prided itself on being a good world citizen and accepting responsibility for its business relations. Odd Molly’s objective is to continuously improve ethically and environmentally, which is why the company is a member of Fair Wear Foundation, an independent organization that works to improve working conditions in the textile industry.

The greatest Odd Molly inspiration will always be you. So expect a lot.Karin and Per
